This bone-chilling holiday have some not so scary fun with your family! While there are plenty of Spooktacular events to chill you to the core this year, these six events are all family friendly!

Not So Scary Estuary

San Elijo Lagoon Nature Center in Cardiff, CA

Experience a fun filled day of not so scary family fun! Your children will love taking part in the Halloween costume contest. There are even prizes! Enjoy a live bird program, sea life touch tank, and more!

Halloween Fest

Fri, Oct. 18^th from 10 AM-8:30 PM
Play City in Chula Vista, CA

Do your kids love the movie Coco or The Nightmare Before Christmas? They could meet the characters from the show at the Halloween Fest held at Play City! There will also be performances, games, and giveaways. There are 4 different time slots to choose from, and each child will receive a candy bag.

Halloween Expo

Sat, Oct. 19^th from 1 PM-8 PM
Dojo Café in San Diego, CA

Check out the incredible Halloween merchandise from over 25 vendors at this expo. Enjoy food, amazing carved pumpkins, special effects, trick or treating, and more! All ages are welcome, but some vendors may display images that small children will find scary.

This annual Halloween event is full of fun! Look forward to entertainment, crafting, costume contest, and so much more.

Mini Chef + Me: Tricks and Treats

Lazy Acres in Encinitas, CA

Your mini chef will love this event! Learn how to make all kinds of spooky delights at the Moonlight Room. From chopped fingers (hotdogs in pastry puff) to a jack o lantern pot pie. There are even dairy-free and vegetarian options!

Safe Trick or Treat

Thur, October 31^st starting at 5PM
Historic Highway 101 (Encinitas Blvd to K Street)

The historic highway 101 in Encinitas is going to be transformed into Pumpkin Lane! Trick or treat safely while also enjoying the numerous carved pumpkins and Halloween activities. Not to mention, there will be music, games, and complimentary goods.
