Annual Safe Trick or Treat on Pumpkin Lane this Friday

Halloween is one of the most fun and festive holidays of the year. What other holiday allows kids to dress up as their favorite characters and collect free candy?

In the spirit of creating a safe and enjoyable experience for children, Encinitas will host the annual Safe Trick or Treat on Pumpkin Lane this Friday from 5pm to 8pm.

The event will be located in Downtown Encinitas, on South Coast Hwy 101 from Encinitas Blvd. to K Street.

The annual event is a wonderful place to bring children trick or treating, in a relaxed and safe environment. Local merchants will be handing out candy, and The 101 Artists’ Colony will be hosting a kids zone with games, music, and other activities at the Lumberyard Courtyard.

And of course, it wouldn’t be Pumpkin Lane without pumpkins! Every year, the monks of The Self-Realization Fellowship carve spectacular and intricate jack-o-lanterns from pumpkins that are grown and harvested from the hill above Vulcan. The pumpkins are then displayed at various locations throughout Pumpkin Lane.

The annual Safe Trick or Treat is one of the many wonderful traditions we celebrate in Encinitas. Even if you’re not a resident of Encinitas, we welcome you to bring your child for a night of fun and safe Halloween activities. But beware, you may not want to leave!
