Check Out “Surf Report” at the La Jolla Playhouse

At times, viewing a movie from home, no matter how large the TV, does not suffice. Going to the movie theater can be an awesome and almost unmatchable experience. And an experience it is! It often entails traveling, socializing, eating popcorn, and other traditions. The intimacy provided by a living room replaces well with the energy and ambiance of a nice movie theater. An evening at the cinema is worth experiencing every so often, whether on a date, alone, or spending an evening with the children. Even better, though, is viewing a real live play!

The La Jolla Playhouse, located on the University of California campus, has a rich history. It is a not for profit theater that regularly presents classics, musicals, and all sorts of new plays. Starting Tuesday, June 15th, the play “Surf Report” will be featured.

“Surf Report” written by Annie Weisman, is said to be a cool modern play that anyone living in an Encinitas home or Carlsbad home may be able to relate too. The play, centered around family crisis revolving around career decisions, speaks to a wide audience. You may very well see parallels in your or your friends’ lives.

Regardless of your flavor, The La Jolla Playhouse is constantly featuring a variety of plays, artists, and performers. The playhouse is an amazing amenity that I encourage all new Carlsbad, San Diego, and Encinitas home owners to take advantage of.
