Encinitas Realtors Expect Business to Grow

Encinitas Realtors are expecting our business to grow over the next five years. As one of the leading Encinitas Realtors in San Diego County I feel very confident about my ability to help those looking for homes for sale in Encinitas.

Inman News just recently conducted a survey of almost 1,000 real estate agents around the country about their perceptions regarding the future of the industry. The majority of real estate agents surveyed (about 74%) felt that the business would be bigger in five years. About 14% felt that it would stay about the same and only 4% though they would be doing less business in that time period.

Some other findings from this survey included:

  • The use of social media is extremely prevalent among real estate agents, with more than 93% had their own Facebook page, 75% maintained a business page with 60% on Twitter.
  • In terms of the size of the NAR (National Association of Realtors), many believed that it would be about the same size as it currently is (49%), while 36% thought it would grow during the course of the next five years.
  • Some agents fear that government involvement in the real estate industry may lead to a “click to buy” situation on houses, cutting out Realtors altogether.
