Energy for Commercial Property in Encinitas

The Property Assessed Clean Energy program allows owners of property in Encinitas to use their property as collateral in order to finance improvements that will yield energy savings and efficiency. This program will hopefully allow a number of businesses to focus on energy technology that may have previously seemed unattainable without having to put money down in advance.

The owners of the property will be able to pay for the improvements by adding assessments to their bills on property tax. This project will not only make it possible for businesses to save money but may end up producing as many as 25,000 jobs across the state of California, with many of those going to residents of the 12 cities in San Diego County that are taking part in the program, including Encinitas. Other added benefits of the program include reduction on power bills and reducing the impact on the environment.
