  • Summer is not complete without a trip to the ball park so why not enjoy an evening with the San Diego Padres who welcome the LA Dodgers tonight for some old fashioned in state baseball rivalry. PetCo Park is the venue and game time is at 6:05 pm.
  • If home grown music is your choice then tonight is the night to welcome back California’s very own Doobie Brothers whose musical career has spanned over 30 years. Catch this nostalgic performance tonight at Humphreys concerts by the bay at 7:30 pm and “listen to the music.”
  • Want to enjoy some outdoor music but the budget is a little tight after the holiday? Then perhaps the foot stomping Cajun spiced sounds of Zydeco are more your to you and your wallet’s liking. This free show starts at 7:00 pm at the Pacific Beach/ Taylor Branch of the San Diego Library.
  • If you want to get a jump on the Halloween season why not check out the Haunted San Diego Ghost Tour. This guided tour features some of the areas well documented haunted and historic sites including Gaslamp Quarter hotel, downtown’s oldest building, a Victorian mansion, San Diego’s oldest cemetery and the Whaley House, one of 30 ghost houses recognized by the U.S. Department of Commerce. The haunting starts this evening at 6:30 pm and dearly departs from the Best Western Hacienda Hotel Old Town.

Whether it’s cheering with the crowd at PetCo, jamming to the sounds of the Doobie Brothers, or listening for the faint wail of a ghost, your spirit will be lifted right out of your Encinitas Home.
