Restaurants Coming to Encinitas

Between spring and summer of 2012 there will be an influx of restaurants coming to Encinitas, as well as some changes to some of your current favorites.

HapiFish, one of Encinitas residents’ favorite sushi restaurants, will be the first in Encinitas to launch two different restaurant venues in one space. At the end of this month they will be launching Counter Culture, which from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. will feature artisan sandwiches, organic coffee, salads, fruit bowls, and beach bento boxes. From 3 p.m. and onward the restaurant will return to the HapiFish menu.

Native Foods Cafe, which was originally scheduled to open in November, will be opening its doors in May and will feature casual vegan food that promises to cost around $10 and be prepared in about 10 minutes. Items such as vegan chili cheese fries will be offered and are already whetting the appetite of local vegan residents. Also the Pacific Coast Grill, which originally made a name for itself in Solana Beach, will be opening by the end of May or beginning of June and will feature some of the menu items that garnered it so much attention in the first place, such as shrimp dumplings and Hawaiian-style baby back ribs.
