Leucadia Farmers Market in Encinitas

Another beautiful weekend is upon us! So far there were plenty of amazing events in and around Encinitas all summer long! There have been plenty of baseball games, the San Diego Fair, concerts, surfing competitions, and of course the amazing firework shows that took place on the Fourth of July! If you live in an Encinitas home and have found yourself bored, you mustn’t have been reading this blog!

A cool event going on this Sunday as well as every Sunday is the Leucadia Farmers Market. At the market you can find plenty of vendors providing organically raised flowers and plants, produce, many types of specialty foods, arts and crafts, and of course produce! The Farmers Market takes place at Paul Ecke School on 185 Union Street in Encinitas. The proceeds benefit the school’s PTA as well as Leucadia 101 Main Street.

Also, for all of you living in San Diego homes, the Padres are playing the Florida Marlins for a three game series starting tonight at 7:05 pm at PETCO park. There will be plenty of giveaways on both Saturday and Sunday games. If you arrive early to the Saturday game, you may be lucky enough to drive home with a Clayton Richard bobblehead doll on your dashboard!
