Only Two TGIF Jazz in the Parks Events Remain

It is undoubtedly nice to attend a performance of an established musician at a large venue, and should be done every so often by any Encinitas home owner. However, it can also be just as fun to go view a free show to listen and view new artists. Many times, learn of great musicians by venturing to free festivals and end up becoming life long fans!

If you are a regular visitor to this blog you may remember a post regarding Carlsbad’s TGIF Jazz in the Parks. The Carlsbad Cultural Arts Office has been bringing fresh jazz to Carlsbad every Friday evening since June 25th. The Thank God It’s Friday Jazz in the Parks concert series features a variety of jazz performances that span many styles. It is not uncommon for blues performers to take the stage before or after a big band performance at a TGIF event. If you live in a Carlsbad or Encinitas house, make it a point to attend one of the last two TGIF concerts! There are only two TGIF Jazz in the Parks events that remain for the summer, as the last one of the season is taking place on Friday August 20th.
