Events in Encinitas This Weekend

Whether you are looking for a chance to volunteer, some ways to unwind, or great entertainment, Encinitas has so much to offer. Check out just of few of these fun activities you can take part in this weekend.

GrassrootsHealth Volunteering

If you are interested in volunteering and giving back the GrassrootsHealth organization will be packing blood testing kits in order to help test vitamin D levels and combat the epidemic in deficiency of this essential vitamin. The event will take place from 10am to 2pm on Friday August, 16th at 322 Encinitas Blvd, Suite 220.

Shrek The Musical

The Encinitas North County School of the Arts will be presenting their production of Shrek The Musical, featuring Chad Theriault of Encinitas in the lead role and a 20-foot dragon among other spectacles. The show will run Friday night at 7pm as well as Saturday and Sunday at 2pm at the Carlsbad Cultural Arts Center in Carlsbad at 3557 Monroe Street.

Music in Encinitas

There are multiple opportunities to enjoy some great local music this weekend including the Music in the Street festival, Summer Sunday Concerts by the Sea, as well as the Chase n’ Dale roots reggae event at The Beach House in Cardiff-by-the-Sea.
