A new resale clothing boutique for children has opened up in Encinitas, and is called Platypus Kids. The shop is a great place to find clothes for your growing kids at a great price and is especially beneficial for back-to-school shopping.

Starting August 11th and ending August 18th Platypus Kids will be donating 10% of the sales for back-to-school shopping to the Encinitas Educational Foundation. All you have to do is tell them the name of the school your child goes to at checkout and they will make sure that part of your sale is donated.

Co-owner of Platypus Kids, Denise Alon is a mother of three children currently enrolled in Encinitas schools and is very involved with those schools as well as the Encinitas Educational Foundation. The elementary schools included in the fundraiser include:
