May Real Estate News in North County

As a Realtor in San Diego I not only provide my services in Encinitas, but also to surrounding areas in North County. Here is a look at the current state of growing markets throughout North County. According to data from the San Diego association of Realtors, Del Mar and La Jolla are leading with rising median prices as are Oceanside and Carlsbad. In fact, in all of North County the market continues to grow.

May 2013 Real Estate in North County

Across all of San Diego County the median price for a single-family home was up more than 22% from the same period in 2012 and up 3.6% from April of this year. Here is a summation of how the real estate market is shaping up in cities such as Del Mar, Carlsbad, and Encinitas.

Del Mar Homes for Sale

Median home prices reached $1.27 million, which was up 21% from 2012, though down from previous months throughout 2013. 17 homes were sold in the month of May in Del Mar.

Carlsbad Homes for Sale

With the second highest number of homes sold in the county, Carlsbad saw the sale of 120 homes throughout the month of May. Increased median prices continued in the month to a high of $741,250.

Homes for Sale in Oceanside

Oceanside saw the greatest number of sold homes for the month of May, with 150 homes at a median price of $407,747. Both of these numbers were increases over the previous month and year-to-year.

Encinitas Real Estate

In the month of May, Encinitas saw 49 homes for sale sold with a median price of $771,000.
