One of the largest events, the Coastal Christmas Holiday Light Spectacular, should not be missed during the holidays! Admission is free for kids who are under 3 years of age. Visit the Del Mar Fairgrounds to see it! A magical experience filled with twinkling lights, festive activities for all ages, and the warmth of holiday cheer, this 12-day holiday extravaganza is open on weekends and on select dates from December 14 to December 30. The immersive light display features shimmering and sparkling lights, and an eco-friendly skating rink will be available for you to enjoy while listening to Christmas music.
Newport Beach Boat Parade: Are you a boating enthusiast? Check out this holiday boating light show on December 13th! Just head to Newport Beach to see the parade in person and enjoy the holiday lights.
East Village Tree Lighting & Holiday Market: Join the community at the East Village Tree Lighting and Holiday Market on December 9th, 5:45 pm! There are events for kids, Santa activities, and more! You can shop for holiday dinner sets and holiday doormats for your home.
Visit the San Diego Botanic Garden: While this is not directly in Encinitas, the San Diego Botanic Garden is a beautiful and serene place to explore with your family.
