Check Crime by your Encinitas Home with Trulia

They say that location is everything in real estate, and that is especially true of an Encinitas home because of proximity to the Ocean, the type of view you get from the home and how close it is to schools, shopping and the highways. However, even a Encinitas home with a gorgeous ocean view that is near the best shopping and restaurants may have a hidden side – crime. Now thanks to Trulia there is a new way to check Crime Maps to see just how much crime is reported in your area that you are looking at.
It is a good way not only to see crime in Encinitas before you plan on buying an Encinitas home, but you can also learn the neighborhoods of San Diego and see any crime in San Diego should you ever venture to the big city for a Padres game or for a night on the town with friends. You can also compare crime across the country to see just how safe or unsafe your neighborhood is or the neighborhood you are considering moving to. Here is a quick video on how the Crime Maps by Trulia work.

I always try and tell people looking to buy an Encinitas home to check out the neighborhood and do their research before committing to buy. While they check on the schools near their Encinitas home, the shopping, the outdoor activities and the proximity to the ocean they never really check on crime. I will be definitely recommending the Crime Maps from Trulia when a new prospective buyer wants to know all about Encinitas or any of the other cities in San Diego County that I can help them find a home in.
